Martin Duenhoelter

Has been practicing law in the same location for 25 years.  Born in Germany, immigrated to the US as a child.  Graduated from Rogers High School in Puyallup, WA, and then majored in Political Science with a minor in History at PLU.  Graduated from UPS (Now Seattle University) Law School in 1989.   Played in a Band called “The Lives in Being” in Law school and after.  The Tacoma defense lawyer has been active on the Public Defender panel earlier in his career, and was until recently a part time contract Public Defender in Lakewood, WA for over 8 years, handling hundreds of misdemeanor cases.

A past Trustee of the Pierce County Bar Association, Martin has been one of the primary leaders of the annual “Lawyerpalooza” festival which takes place at his farm in Olalla.   The Tacoma attorney currently still serves the bar association as a member of the Judicial qualifications committee.   In his spare time Martin enjoys traveling in Europe with his family.   He also collects vintage electric guitars and Marklin toy trains.
